The present study was designed to determine the prevalence of intestinal parasites in workers of Shiraz municipality and its relationship with factors such as age, educational status and job type. In this cross-sectional study, 995 different areas of the municipality with different occupations were selected and their stool specimens were tested to determine intestinal parasites. Information about age, education, household size and gastrointestinal symptoms were collected by questionnaires. In total, 37 cases had parasitic infections, the most prevalent was giardiasis. The prevalence of infection was 3.7% with a confidence interval of 95%, equivalent to 2.5-4.9. Significant correlation was found between statistic analysis of the area of ​​service, the level of literacy and the attitude of people about the importance of wearing gloves during work (P <0.05). There was no relation with occupation, place of residence, age and number of households (P> 0.05). The results of this study indicate the importance of relationship between the level of knowledge and culture of individuals and their attitudes and insights on parasitic infection. Therefore, it is recommended that courses be taken to increase the knowledge of individuals, as well as the health education and individual health principles for workers.}, keywords = {Health Education,Waste collection workers,Parasitic infections,Shiraz}, title_fa = {بررسی میزان شیوع انگل‌های روده‌ای در کارگران مدیریت پسماند شهرداری شیراز}, abstract_fa = {جمع‌آوری پسماندهای شهری یکی از مشاغلی است که کارگران مربوطه را در معرض آسیب‌های شغلی متنوعی از جمله عفونت‌های انگلی روده قرار می‌دهد. تحقیق حاضر، برای بررسی میزان شیوع انگل‌های روده‌ای در کارگران شهرداری شیراز و ارتباط آن با عواملی مانند سن، وضعیت تحصیلات و نوع شغل آنها طراحی گردید. در این مطالعه مقطعی در مجموع 995 نفر از مناطق مختلف شهرداری با مشاغل گوناگون انتخاب شدند و نمونه مدفوع آنان برای تعیین وجود انگل‌های روده‌ای مورد آزمایش قرار گرفت. اطلاعات درباره سن، تحصیلات، حجم خانوار و داشتن علائم گوارشی با پرسش‌نامه جمع‌آوری گردید. در مجموع 37 نفر آلودگی انگلی داشتند که بیش‌ترین آلودگی مربوط به تک‌ یاخته ژیاردیا بود. شیوع آلودگی 7/3% با دامنه اطمینان 95% معادل 9/4-5/2 برآورد گردید. در آنالیز آماری بین منطقه محل خدمت، داشتن سواد و نیز نظر افراد درباره اهمیت پوشیدن دستکش حین کار (05/0>P) با آلودگی انگلی ارتباط معنی‌دار دیده شد. در مورد شغل، محل سکونت، سن و تعداد افراد خانوار ارتباطی با آلودگی مشاهده نشد (05/0P>). نتایج این پژوهش نشانگر اهمیت ارتباط سطح دانش و فرهنگ افراد و نیز نحوه نگرش و بینش آن‌ها با آلودگی انگلی است. از این رو توصیه می‌شود دوره ‏هایی برای افزایش دانش افراد و نیز آموزش بهداشت و اصول بهداشت فردی برای کارگران در نظر گرفته شود.}, keywords_fa = {آموزش بهداشت,کارگران جمع‌آوری پسماند,عفونت‌های انگلی روده,شیراز}, url = {https://journal.shiraz.ir/article_81254.html}, eprint = {https://journal.shiraz.ir/article_81254_35ee7033cd5c038a16d1955fce91977c.pdf} }
